Diane’s books are the epitome of what people love about regencies — They’re fun, witty, emotional and clever. I’ve heard so many writers compared to Georgette Heyer, but really, only Diane comes close.
I’ve just discovered your books after reading all of Mary Balogh’s, Patricia Oliver’s/Olivia Fontaine’s, and Jean Ross Ewing’s. Through the comments on Amazon about one of these authors (can’t remember which one), I discovered your regencies. I’m slowly buying all of them from used book sellers. I found your website today and was so pleased. However, I’m worried by your “what’s next” section. Please tell me you’ll write more historicals! You’re such a gifted writer. There are so few historical romance writers I can read with any pleasure anymore. Having just found you, I don’t want to lose you. Here’s hoping you find the energy and inspiration to write again!
